QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
I know that letting someone else take care of your pet can be difficult. To make the process a little easier, I’ve put together some of the questions I’m frequently asked. If there ’s something I’ve missed, just reach out and I’ll do my best to help.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PET BECOMES INJURED UNDER YOUR CARE?
This is a good question and one owners should ask of any service provider. First, we'll immediately assess the situation, get all parties' information, contact you or with your permission contact the listed guardian in your file.if we don't reach you or the guardian listed we will take your pet to your vet or mine for medical treatment if necessary. Accidents are very rare and when they do happen they are usually a result of an interaction between us and an irresponsible third party, not between dogs under our care.
WHY IS THERE A 'MEET & GREET'?
During this complimentary appointment we'll meet with you and all of your pets. The appointment usually lasts about 15-30 minutes. During the consultation, we'll discuss the pet services you're interested in, so we can tailor our services to your specific needs. We'll ensure that all of your questions are answered and all of the necessary paperwork is filled out.
DO YOU HAVE REFERENCES?
Yes, we'd be happy to provide references upon request . We also have a number of reviews from our customers on our Facebook page.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Pet Sitting: All cancellations must be done 48 hours before the time of the appointment. Cancellations within 48 hours will result in a 50% cancellation penalty of the total amount due.
Dog Walking: All cancellations must be done 24 hours before of the time of the appointment. Cancellations within 24 hours will result in 100% of the normal dog walking fee.
*(Exceptions made for severe weather, life threatening emergencies, or death in the family)
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PET REQUIRES MEDICAL ATTENTION IN MY ABSENCE?
We will ask you to sign an emergency contact form which will remain on file. By signing this form you agree that we may seek medical attention for your pet in your absence. We will make every effort to take your pet to your veterinarian, but if they are unable to be reached, your pet will be taken to an emergency clinic in the immediate area. We requests that you contact your vet, so they may make a note in your pet’s file that we are authorized to seek medical attention for your pet.
